The new keyword is "semantic databases", and it's set off a veritable breakdown cascade between my curiosity and the Internet. In the interest of getting something done tonight, here's the trajectory (although in no particular order):
- Free Webinar on enterprise semantics (good description for some keywords there) (enterprise semantics is actually a good subject for the propaganda blog, too)
- Backgrid.js is a neat JS table tool of some kind - the site it's linked to on looks pretty useful for a component source, too.
- IW article on semantic databases
- Search for "semantic database" at semanticweb.com. Go ahead. Search!
- Wikipedia: semantic data model - now we're talking. This is what I want to do for databases.
- "What is semantic data?" sales page.
- A blog.
- Tutorial 5: querying semantic data
OK, that's enough for now. I'm almost caught up with work.
